We collect a variety of information before before during and after your photo session. All information is collected to ensure we can provide a fully comprehensive service to you whilst providing great customer service.
The data being collected includes.
Names, addresses and contact information of the person(s) making an enquiry or booking, person(s) using our services and/or placing an order with us.
If you send us messages via social media, our website contact form or email us these messages are automatically stored within our email systems or social media accounts. These messages are stored for as long as needed to allow us to provide you with a full and complete service.

All our our data is collected directly from you or the person booking the session, attending the session or placing an order. Whether you tell us face to face, by message through social media or via our website, fill out a form online, via the telephone, via e-mail.
Why is it being collected?
All of the data we collect is solely for the purpose of providing you with the service you booked or processing any orders placed.
We are required by law to collect and store certain information relating to any order you place with us.

Data we collected will be used to enable us to provide our services and produce any orders for you.
We never send out marketing material and never share or sell details to third parties for marketing purposes.

Our gallery hosting company who enable us to provide private password protected galleries to customers and allow orders to be placed and payments collected.
Delivery services that we use for dispatching orders. All printed orders will be sent using a signed for service which means some personal details need to be disclosed, name, address and sometimes a contact phone number for courier services.
Printing Labs. We will supply them with your name and address and contact number where relevant if orders are being sent to you direct.
Law Enforcement and Legal Requirements – we will provide data to law enforcement agencies if issued with a court order to do so.
All third party websites that link to our processing process will have their own privacy policies available for you to view on their websites.

How will this effect you?
The way we collect, store and process your data means it should have no negative effect on you as an individual.

How long is the data stored?
Most data we collect is stored indefinitely. This is too allow us to provide a better service to you as a customer in the event that you contact us again in the future.
Customers proof galleries will be stored for two months, excluding any images that will be used for promotional/marketing/advertising/business development purposes. These images will be stored until such time Royal Touch Photography ceases trading, or until the images are no longer needed for this purpose, whichever time comes first. You have the option to opt out of images being used for promotional purposes.
We are legally obliged to store some data for a minimum amount of time, for example any information relating to HMRC, including sales records and order details.

Can I access my information?
You may request a copy of any data we store about you – and we will comply with any requests as per the guidance of the Information Commissioner’s Office.
