Junction 45 Truckstop - Gretna

Earlier this week I headed up to Gretna to check out Junction 45 Ltd It has been one of the most talked about truck stops on my feed since it opened a couple of months ago.
It is easy to see why it is getting such positive feedback.

Located a few minutes from off Jct 45 on the M6, Gretna, it's simple to find (even with my terrible sense of direction).
It is very much a long term project, with lots of plans already underway and more in the pipeline for the future, but the vision is clear and it is set to be an amazing truckstop.
Right now there is a large safe and secure, hard-standing parking area and fuel pumps. Shower and toilet facilities, which although temporary are still receiving positive feedback from drivers
There is a small undercover seating area next to the small but well stocked shop, selling everything from snacks and food to go, to truck accessories and cleaning products.
They currently have a range of affordable food options available including sandwiches and pies and a Costa machine. I can highly recommend the Haggis and Steak pie
It was great to hear their plans for the future and see the restaurant, large outdoor seating area and permanent shower and washroom facilities taking shape. All being well they will be completed in the next few weeks.
I will be heading back up once the next lot of work is done to check it out, and sure it will become a regular stop off from now on when I am up that way.
If you are looking for a place to stop or stay I can highly recommend it.
Have you been yet? If so what did you think?
